David’s expertise include, welding, metallurgy, failure analysis, corrosion, material characterisation, risk based inspections, forensic engineering, stainless steels, damage assessments, structural steel, corrosion resistant alloys, root cause analysis, thermal-stress analysis and non-destructive examination. David has prepared and presented expert evidence for litigation hearings. David is an expert witness panel member for the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (Dispute Resolution Service), member of Engineers Australia, National Committee of Applied Mechanics & Welding Technology Institute of Australia.
